Stephanie Campbell founded Stroller Mamas Fitness, LLC in 2005.  She is a former elementary school teacher with a Masters in her area.  She was an athlete prior to becoming a mom, competing and coaching gymnastics, training for numerous road races and triathlons and competing in the Marine Corps Marathon in Washington DC.  After giving birth to her first son, she continued an active lifestyle, but found it difficult to go to the gym or exercise at home.  Scheduling conflicts and daycare issues always prevented a workout.  Soon she hit the road with her baby and her stroller and began a daily walking routine.  Knowing that a cardio workout alone was not enough, she began incorporating strength training exercises into the routine.   Stephanie soon realized there were no programs available on Long Island that allowed moms to workout with their babies, and thus the Stroller Mamas Fitness (SMF) program was born.   She obtained her Group Fitness Certification through the National Endurance and Sports Trainer Association and began developing a full-body workout that involved the stroller and child into the workout.   Stephanie is mom to Jackson and Luke.

SMF Instructors

All Stroller Mamas Fitness Instructors are certified group fitness instructors and trained SMF leaders.

Susan Blayer became a Stroller Mamas Fitness Instructor in June, 2007.  Originally from Queens, she and her family moved to Long Island in June, 2006.  In addition to being a NESTA Certified Fitness Instructor, Susan has a Masters Degree in Clinical Social Work from Columbia University, as well as, a Masters in Divinity from Union Theological Seminary. When she is not teaching SMF classes, she meets with clients for private therapy through the Diocese of Long Island social service agency. She has worked in this field for various not-for profit agencies for 18 years. Susan loves being a mom to her daughter, Sophia. She believes that SMF has helped them both in so many ways and contributed to their overall health and well-being as a family. Susan's husband, Brian, is an Episcopal priest.

Denise Vibal was one of our first SMF members, as well as, our first instructor.  She obtained her NESTA certification and began teaching classes in November 2006.  Denise is a yoga enthusiast.  She is mom to Grace and Christian.

Celina Cabello was a Stroller Mama first and then became a SMF instructor in January 2007.  Celina is an avid runner and a NESTA certified fitness instructor.  She is mom to Maceo and newborn twin boys Ryder and Noah.

Stacey Longenberger has been a member of SMF since May 2007 and recently became certified as a SMF instructor.  Stacey dabbled in sports growing up, but it wasn't until college that she became interested in fitness and a regular at the gym.  She believes she’s in the best shape of her life due to her participation in SMF classes.  Stacey is mom to Anna and expecting Baby #2 in November ’08.

Jill DeMarco MPH, MSW became a Stroller Mama in July of 2007 after the birth of her second child. Always the fitness enthusiast, she got her instructor certification in January 2008 and her Kids Yoga Instructor certification in March 2008. She and her husband, Vincent moved out of the city to the Island to raise their family. Jill is happy being a Stay-at-home-Mom to Jackson and Sophie, yet is hoping to put her extensive Public Health and Social Work background to good use in her new life as a suburban mom/Stroller Mamas Fitness Instructor.  In her life before children, Jill worked in public health education, helping people learn about topics ranging from reproductive health, to Breast cancer to nutrition and physical activity, to adolescent health and childhood obesity.
